33 Weeks: Bump Shoot

We decided last minute to do a maternity photoshoot a few weeks ago while we were in London (well I say "we" but Josh actually didn't have a say in the matter ha!) I wanted some pictures to remember what my body looks like at this stage in life as it grows bigger and bigger each day, just like she does. Honestly, I was worried that I would hate the changes my body would go through during pregnancy (some of the not so nice changes are hard to love) but I absolutely love my bump and have gotten to the stage where I think I'll miss it once she's here. Its something I have stared at in the mirror everyday, something I have photographed over and over so that I don't forget what it felt like to have her so close to me. I love my bump, and am proud of my body for providing everything she's needed to grow.

I have went back and forward in my head so many times about sharing these pictures on my blog as I find them quite personal to us (and the fact that I decided to show off my bare belly for the whole shoot which feels somewhat intimate to me). But I figured that you're only pregnant a handful of times, if you're fortunate enough, so decided to embrace my bare bump.

These pictures will always hold a special place in my heart and I'm so grateful to know someone like Meghan who is more talented that she'll ever know. I still feel as though I have to pinch myself every time I look down and see this massive tummy poking out in front of me. Not long now until we meet her and I feel like I can't wait another second.
