Last Saturday.

I wish i had more time to dedicate to blogging. I find that i get all these ideas and then before i know it another week has passed and i never wrote about anything.

I've taken my camera out with us the last couple of weekends with the intention of blogging about what we got up to and this is the first opportunity i've had to sit down and load everything.

So last saturday afternoon went a little like this...

We woke up to a beautiful but chilly saturday morning (my favourite) so decided to go for a walk around Entwistle Reservoir. Its not too far from us but its lovely.

 Look at that little red button nose. I just want to squeeze it off it's so cute!

After our walk, we jumped back in the car with our boots dripping wet with mud and cranked the heating. We didn't even walk half way round and we were all frozen to the bone. Scarlett's little legs must've been exhausted because she fell asleep as soon as we started driving. 

Once we were home and she was all bright eyed and bushy tailed again, she decided she wanted eggs on toast and insisted that she help. She loves to pitch in whenever we're cooking.
(Don't worry- she was well supervised). And then to top our afternoon off nicely we all stuffed ourselves with doughnuts, cookies & hot chocolate and watched a disney DVD (of course).

We love our weekend adventures with Scarlett so always try to do something a bit different with her when she's with us. I absolutely live for the weekend and don't even care if that sounds sad. 2 whole days with my family? Yes please.
