Here is a little snippet of what we got up to...
We had our second wedding anniversary and I woke up to two gorgeous bouquets of flowers that i got to admire for a good couple of weeks.

We ditched our original plan to go out for a swarve dinner and went to Almost Famous instead. Definitely made the right choice- those burgers have got to be the best in Manchester! If you go, be sure to get the sweet potato fries. Ah-mazing!
Rubyloo celebrated her 80th birthday!! The whole family got together over the whole month to make her feel special. She is such a funny granny and we all love her to bits!
Doesn't look 80 right?!
Granny loves her boys (even though they always wind her up!)
Scarlett had waited so patently for her strawberry ice cream and Josh took the first bite when it arrived to the table! Luckily she found it "funneh" (Love her little Manc accent!)
England played Italy in their first game in the World Cup so of course Paul, being the proud Scotsman that he is, had to wave the Italian flag in Joel and Joshs face.
The morning after (Granny's actual birthday) we opened presents with her and Lynsey made some amazing pancakes before they headed off to a wedding.
I love Scarletts little smile in this picture. Normally when a camera is put in front of her face she sticks her tounge out (she can't take a serious picture- definitely her dads daughter!). My parents love her like she's their own which I'm so grateful for.
These two beauties were my models for the day after i spent all morning doing their hair and makeup for the wedding they were going to. Is it bad to admit that you think all the women in your family are so gorgeous?!
Me, Josh and Scarlett headed into Edinburgh City centre that afternoon for a walk around the Castle. We took Scarlett on the bus and she LOVED it. She clutched on to her bus ticket like it was the most valuable thing in the world!
We were lucky enough to have some free tickets to go into the Castle (something I've never done before) and it was great! would definitely recommend it! This is one of the many gorgeous views from up there. Edinburgh is such a beautiful city.
Scarlett was not a fan of this particular street performer (bad quality picture)
All was well though when she was safely sat on Josh's shoulders.
It was Fathers day on Sunday so i was really grateful that i could spent the day with my dad. He is such a great man!
After our Sunday lunch it was time to say goodbye to everyone, including my uncle Alan who was over from Australia. He hadn't been back over to Scotland since i was 9 so it was lovely to see him again and spend the weekend with him. I hope he won't leave it as long next time!
We also had a wedding in June which was another lovely day. We travelled to Wales with our two good friends and had such a fun day together.
While the newlyweds went to the temple, we headed to a nearby beach which was lovely albeit very windy!
One the way home, we stopped by this quaint little waterfall that Matt & Anna had been to before. It was gorgeous!
We took the jet skis out one week night with a few of our friends. Its nice to get unto stuff throughout the week. Good way to unwind!
The girls!
Before we headed off, we made (and by we, i mean us GIRLS) a little fire to have smores.
Hope you all had a lovely June like we did xo.
