I don't know whats come over me but recently I've become obsessed with anything matching/co-ordinating/his & hers. I think its since having Indie all I want to do is either match her to what I'm wearing or to what Scarlett is wearing. Goodness knows what I'm going to be like if we have a baby boy!

I'm not much of a trainers kinda gal but I wanted a casual pair to wear everyday that weren't too sporty so these were right up my street. When I went to buy them I bought a pair in Joshs size just on impulse but luckily he was pleased with them when I brought them home so I love that we're matching! I think I may even get the girls a pair too! As if baby trainers weren't cute enough!!

Tag me in anything matchy-matchy that you see! Im on the hunt for family Christmas pyjamas but having no luck finding any cute ones!!

Leopard Print

I have been loving leopard print this season even though its always been something I've shied away from in fear of looking tacky. I feel like there is a fine line between a chic leopard print and a cheap looking one. But as i'm trying to step out of my comfort zone more and more these days, I thought I'd give this bold skirt a try and I lovvvve it!

My top tip for wearing leopard this season is to look out for prints that are more beige and black than orange and black. The more neutral the better (words to live by in my books!) 

I've linked a few different pieces below that are perfect for adding to your wardrobe if you want to add a touch of leopard to your outfits instead of going to town! The good thing about leopard print is that it tends to always come around again and again in the autumn/winter, so investment pieces are well worth it in my eyes!

Cherry Blossom

Blue Stripe Dress // Cardi (similar) // Shoes 

I always loved the cherry tree in our back garden growing up and definitely want to plant my own, once we've bought and settled into our own home. I love when the blossoms start to fall off and coat the grass with tiny pink petals- almost like springs equivalent of snow! So pretty.

I bought this blue stripe dress weeks and weeks ago (which isn't maternity) so I wasn't sure that it would even fit me now, but I managed to zip it up with ease! I love the colours and how you could dress it down with flats and a longer cardigan so will definitely be wearing it again, even after baby!

And can we all just take a moment to appreciate how cute this little pup is? He is getting so big but his gorgeous puppy face makes my heart melt! Especially when those little petals get stuck to his big wet nose.

I've been worrying that he isn't going to adjust well to the baby coming into the family (even though he has the most lovely, soft temperament) but any tips on how to make things easier would be great! He started puppy classes last week so hopefully that will help, but I'm probably worrying about nothing and everything will be fine!

Baby Shower Outfit

I'm getting to that point in pregnancy where its looking (or definitely feeling) less cute to dress my bump, and more of a struggle of get anything to look right on me. Its a daily struggle which consists of a small tantrum each morning as I throw everything on the floor in protest. This past week, I have noticed my feet and hands are starting to look a bit swollen which meant I was forced to take my wedding and engagement rings off. I keep dropping hints that I need a temporary one, so we'll see if he pulls through or if its fallen on deaf ears! Probably the latter.

I had this outfit idea in my head a few weeks before my shower and was worried that by the time it came around, I would be too big to fit into it as neither the top or the skirt is actually maternity. The jersey skirt is something I had pre pregnancy and is really stretchy so managed to fit into it comfortably and the top was just so pretty not to wear so I just went up a size! I absolutely loved the shoes as soon as I saw them, but they were starting to hurt me feet after a few hours and the straps left their mark on my ever growing, puffy cankles!

 I really loved this outfit and felt lovely all afternoon (which is a rare occurrence these days) so thought I'd share the details since I got a few questions about it.

And a special thank you to my gorgeous, generous mum who spoiled me with a couple of goodies from Pandora. Its the little extra touches that really make you feel special. I can see Pandora fast becoming a new favourite of mine- there were so many pretty things to choose from!

My Baby Shower

I can't put into words how lovely and amazing my baby shower turned out to be. I have just spent the last couple of hours slowly looking through all of the pictures that were taken, smiling at the memories that are forever engrained into my mind. I'm so thankful to have such wonderful friends and family who turned up to shower our little baby girl with so much love.

My two sisters, mum and Scarlett planned each and every detail of the afternoon down to perfection. I have a hard time letting others plan things for me as I like to think I'm pretty organised and need to know the details of whats going on, but they done an amazing job and planned my shower SO MUCH better than I ever could have. Thanks so much girls.

And thank you to my wonderful guests who brought the most lovely, amazing gifts for baby girl. She was so spoiled with love and generosity that I'll never forget. You'll never know how much it meant to me for you all to be there!
