Summer reminiscing.

I was looking through photo's the other day and it made me realise what a great summer we had. I have so many happy memories from summer 2013 and feel as though we packed a lot in to those short months.

Now with the weather unmistakably wintery, i looked through those pictures and longed for summer again! What i would give to be back in spain on the beach or sat by the pool. I swear i was born in the wrong country. I am made for sunnier climates. As Josh often tells me though- i'm constantly in conflict with my own environment.

I dont know why but for some reason i generally feel more carefree and happier when its light outside and the breeze is warm. I've heard before about how the sun can actually make you a happier person and i genuinely believe it. Not that i get sad when it gets colder and darker because i don't. I feel fortunate to live in a country where there are opposing seasons. I love when the leaves change to beautiful shades of orange and the nights get darker a little earlier. I love putting the candles on and making our home feel cosy. Summer is always looked forward to but i think you should look for the beauty in every season.

Summer 2013 was a lot of fun and we have made some great memories.

                                          

We went to two weddings! Both were really great with lots of happy memories. I just LOVE weddings.

                                        

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary :)

                                        

I turned 21! My whole family came down a few weeks after to celebrate which was a lot of fun. I love spending time together as we don't get to do it very often. We always have so much fun together.

Then to end summer off nicely, we spent two lovely weeks in Spain and went swimming in the Mediterranean every single day. I miss the warm sun and lazy days!

We really have had a lovely summer together that I will always remember. I need to get better at scrapbooking so I can make nice little keepsakes of all our adventures together. If anyone has any tips on how to scrapbook then let me know!!
