4 Cities in 4 days.

Last week was the last week in November which meant that Movember was coming to an end, so Josh was very busy at work with all of their events. He was going to be gone for 4 days straight so I decided to tag along as I hate being by myself and thought it would be a fun time together (the fact that one of the events was in Edinburgh and I had the chance to see my family had nothing to do with it) Wink wink!

We had a great time together and I felt like a mini break for us even though Josh was working every night. It was fun but very tiring! Being out until 1/2am is so not for me. I am definitely not a party girl.

(I wish I had a good camera and didn't have to take pictures on my iphone as they never turn out how I want them too, but here were a few pictures we took whilst away. As usual I didn't take enough...)

                                                              Our first event in Newcastle!

So glad Lynsey came to the event in London. It was fun having her there with us and I didn't feel as much of a spare part!

This charming little café called "Lee Rosy's" that we stumbled across where we sat to take a breather from all the noise of the event that night.

How cute is this place? The guy in there made us amazing hot chocolate. Such a nice place to chill out and watch people walk by (we sat at the window so we could people watch. We love that).

We drove around London the next morning to see all the sights and got stuck in a bit of a parade at Buckingham Palace.

After driving around London, we drove to Watford to visit my sister and her husband. We went to this great place in the town centre called "Tinsel Town". We were all starvingggg so the food was better than amazing. I had the most heavenly Ferrero Rocher milkshake. It was to die for.

All in all it was a great little trip. I always welcome little mid-week breaks whenever they arise as I tend to get bored very easily in the mundane swing of things. It was a very refreshing 4 days away but even though it was fun staying in a different hotel every night, there was no better feeling that climbing into our own bed, followed by the laziest pyjama day we've ever been known to have.
It was a good end to the month of November but I am so ready for December now. Bring on Christmas!
X
