From swimming with dolphins, to lounging around the pool, to riding camels, to staying up until 3am, to riding sand dunes in the middle of the dessert, to spending hours in the waterparks, to relaxing in the spa, to eating more than humanly possible... it's fair to say we had a ball in Dubai.
We hadn't been back since our honeymoon back in 2012 but it was a completely different experience this time around. Scrolling back through the pictures on my iPhone made me realise how much we managed to cram in and how much fun we had. At the end of each day, we'd fall into bed reliving the memories we had made while repeating over and over how it was the best holiday either of us had ever been on. I honestly couldn't have imagined anything better.
I thought I'd share some of the pictures I snapped on my phone whilst we were there (thank goodness for iPhones, I was too lazy to whip out my "big" camera most days!) Although its nice to be home and back into the routine of daily life, part of me (and thats a big part of me!) still wishes we were there. We'd probably be in the pool with a strawberry mojito right now, but instead in still in my pjs tapping away on my laptop. *sigh* I have a couple more Dubai posts in the pipeline stay tuned :)
