It's Josh's birthday next week but we went out to dinner to celebrate early (he's so spoilt I tell ya). I bought this khaki sleeveless jacket a few days ago which I love as its really easy to throw on with pretty much everything. I was really pleased with my find until the chirpy sales assistant said "Oh I love this! Everyones getting them now. They're really popular." Em what? Thats a reaaaaaally bad sales pitch if ever I've heard one. It put me right off. I had to stop myself from ripping my card out of the machine before the transaction was complete. I tried telling myself that she was wrong as I walked out of the shop and that she simply trying to make small talk... but then I started noticing them everywhere. I even kept the tags on for a couple of days "just incase" I changed my mind. Its like when you get a brand new car and start noticing that everyone is all of a sudden driving the same car as you. Or is that just me?
Well I finally took the tags off and wore it to dinner. I'm a sucker for loose, waterfall layers at this time of year. So if I bump into anyone who's wearing the same, I like to imagine that we'll compliment each other and become instant bezzies because we're obviously on the same page style wise... right?
If you want to join me and apparently every other female in the country, then get yourself down to New Look and snap one of these up for £25. Still looks cute though.
SLC x
