Spring dress

Dress £49.99 // Shoes £35.00 (also available in black)

I went shopping for the first time in what felt like forever the other day and treated myself to a few new things to make getting dressed more bearable. I spent ages wandering around different shops, totally in my element and spotted this dress from Zara that I instantly loved and knew I had to get.

From the months of September to March, you can guarantee that I'll either be wearing something black, white or grey that is plain and simple. I'm not big into prints or patterns when its winter, but its a completely different story come Spring time. Wearing something like this dress isn't normally something I would go for but I find myself looking at clothes differently to accommodate my growing belly. I guess its making me step out of my comfort zone a bit as I have to consider other options I normally wouldn't, but thats probably a good thing as it means my wardrobe is becoming more and more interesting.

I love Spring for so many reasons, but dressing for a sunnier season has got to be near the top. Because I was in my first trimester over winter and sick almost every day, I never made much effort to get up and dressed and lived in comfy, plain clothes which reflected how I was feeling about myself. So now that I finally feel "myself" again and have settled into pregnancy a bit better, I am really enjoying dressing my new body shape and making an effort to feel beautiful and pretty (because I think that is SO important when you're pregnant- to feel the glow

If you're interested in seeing what else I bought on my little shopping trip then let me know and I'll do a separate post on that!

Hope you all had a lovely Sunday!
