Me and josh love Sundays. It may be because we get to be a bit lazy after church but it definitely has a lot to do with spending the whole day together (sometimes Saturday commitments don't permit that!). I love everything about Sundays. I love that i get to feel dressed up because i can wear a skirt/dress and heels. I love the feeling of eagerness and determination to be a little bit better the upcoming week. I love that we always watch a Disney film on the couch while dinner is cooking. I love that we always have meaningful conversations about our future, whether it be on a Sunday stroll or at the dinner table. I love the feeling inside i get because its Sunday.
Today we had a lovely Sunday lunch at Josh's parents house then went a walk with Scarlett to feed the ducks. We decided to take a walk along a canal that's not too far from us. We had never been before but I'm so glad we did. It was really lovely (but freezing!).
We didn't find any ducks there but it was still nice to have some quality time together, just the 3 of us. Sometimes life can be too overwhelming and a nice walk can really bring perspective and peace to your mind.
