We started February off in London (can't get much better right?) to visit with my sister and her hubby. She had tickets for us to watch Taylor Swift at the O2 so we waved goodbye to the boys and had some fun girl time. (Jen, if you're reading this we missed you!)
We've watched Taylor Swift before and she is good at what she does. She definitely puts on a show. It was pretty cringe being amongst thousands of pre teens though. At 21 I've never felt so old! We felt totally left out being the only ones who didn't have some sort of merchandise on ;).
Ed Sheeran also made an appearance which I was mega excited about! His voice makes me melt and I looooove his music.

Earlier in the day we headed over to South Kensington to treat ourselves to cake or two from Hummingbird bakery. I got red velvet (my fav) and josh got plain ol' Vanilla. Ugh... They were so good. If you've never been to a Hummingbird Bakery then I highly suggest you go next time you're in
London.

After filling our faces with cake, we went to "Five Guys" for a late lunch/early dinner to fill our faces with something a little more hearty. When we arrived there was literally a queue that wrapped around the building (and if that's not a good sign then I don't know what is). Me and Josh had never been before but I had seen (saw? seen?... Does anyone know?) reviews popping up all over Bloglovin with foodies raving about it so we were excited to experience it.

I of course was the most excited because it involved food.
My favourite thing about it was the unlimted drinks machines. These things are a glimpse into the future. Mark my words. If the touch screen wasn't fancy enough then how about the 50 odd drinks on tap that you could choose from? Ah-mazing! After not drinking fizzy juice for the whole month of January (more about that challenge here) I was more than happy to sip away at a bottomless cup of vanilla coke.

The burgers were obviously good too. It was the kind of meal that you force yourself to finish because it tastes so good but you know that its going to leave you feeling so sick for a good hour afterwards because you've pushed your appetite to the limit. I don't regret it though. And besides, we jumped on the tube afterwards and took a long walk to Tower Bridge to relieve ourselves of the bloat!

And look what is plastered all over the tube stations right now...

It may be for the theatre production but i still thought it was pretty cool.
So that's January over and we're another month closer to spring(44 days if you're wondering). Lets break out the pastels in our wardrobes together! I'm going to do a few beauty related posts throughout the month to get myself in the mood for (hopefully) brighter days ahead.
