I woke up to no card, no flowers or no chocolate. But wait, before you go judging my husband I will tell you that he had been in London that week for work so I guess valentines day was the last thing on his mind and I took that into account. But he arrived home from work that night with a beautiful bouquet of pink and cream roses (love my pastel colours) and we went out and had a lovely Italian meal together so I let him off in the end. I think i'll stick to planning next year though!
The weekend before valentines day we made a point of celebrating with Scarlett. We made valentines cards and cookies to give to Grandma & Grandad and she loved it. She wanted to make cards for everyone she knew but there is only so many a 4 year old can make before church on a Sunday morning. My favourite is the card she made for Daddy...
This is the card she made for Grandma & Grandad which they loved. She was so proud of it (we forgot to take the cookies for them so unfortunately we had to eat them all. Bummer!)
