Quick & easy protein balls!

Having a sweet tooth is something we can't conquer in this house, but when we're trying to be healthier the last thing we want to do is cave in and grab a chocolate bar! After scouring Pinterest for some idea's, i came across a few different recipes i wanted to try out and these were top of my list since i had most of the ingredients already in my cupboard and they required ZERO baking!

These little energy packed balls are so quick and super simple to whip up. They're really tasty and will curb any sugar cravings you may have... but don't be tempted to eat a few at once - keep in mind that these do contain some sugar! But just like everything else when keeping healthy, everything in moderation is fine and the ingredients used are all pretty natural. I bought everything from Holland & Barretts, except from the vanilla extract and dark chocolate chips.

Ingredients- makes about 20:
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/3 cup organic honey
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup raw oats
1/3 cup organic shredded coconut
1/2 cup ground flaxseed
small handful dark chocolate chips

Directions:
Throw everything in to a big bowl and stir until everything is mixed together.
Let the mixture chill in the fridge until set and then shape into little balls, or flatten into a baking dish to cut into bars.
Store them in an airtight container in the fridge and grab one every time you want to reach for the biscuit tin!

Easy peasy! Let me know if you give these a try this week. You won't regret it!
